When businesses rebrand they do so with their clientele in mind. I wanted the Emily Megan brand to reflect not only myself, but also the couples who are a joy and inspiration to work with. I want my brand to make my brides feel welcomed and like a friend, not just a client. The bride who is considering Emily Megan is a bride who not only wants great photos, but also a great experience and relationship with their photographer. They believe in quality and they believe in their love story. They know the details are important, but they don’t forget the bigger picture – that their wedding day is just the start of their marriage together.
Emily Megan brides believe in hand holding and living with intention. They give back and they have passion. They get inspired by the unexpected and love surprises. Fresh blooms are important to them on their wedding day, but not more important than their handwritten vows. The amount of mason jars won’t out number the people on the guest list. The frills and tulle don’t excite her, but the love does. She dreams about the venues with character and a story. An old barn or industrial warehouse is the perfect backdrop to her and if she can’t find one, then a backyard shindig with family and friends is just as good. She stays classy and her dress is a beauty, but you’ll probably find her barefoot at the end of the night.
The Emily Megan Experience includes not just pretty pictures, but also planning and prepping for a beautiful day together. I don’t want my brides stressing about the timeline or logistics of the day, I want them enjoying every minute and taking the day in without a worry. Before the wedding, I walk through the day with my brides and prepare a timeline so they know exactly what to expect and know who needs to be where at what time. We discuss the details, what’s important to them, how crazy their family is, and I listen to their story – so I can tell it perfectly as it unfolds.
