It’s hard to believe that Tom and Erin’s wedding was BEFORE the “Blizzard of 2018” and there was NO snow on the ground on March 17th – other than a shaded north facing area we found for a few pics below! Their March day was incredibly spring-like, unseasonably warm, and filled with sunshine.
They were married on St. Patrick’s Day and the theme was tastefully down throughout the event. Tom wore a memorable green suit, green beer was served, shades of green peeked out as much as it could, and of course at the end of the day, Erin snagged the very Irish last name, “O’Connor”.
So many personal details were scattered throughout their wedding as well. Tom’s talented father sang an Ed Sherran duet at the ceremony. The pastor who married them was also the pastor that married Erin’s parents years ago and he even used the exact same sermon, how sweet is that? And my personal favorite of the day was the live auction done at the reception for a dance with the bride. The O’Connor family is in the real estate business and all three (Tom – the groom, Joe – Tom’s brother, and Gerry – Tom’s dad) work together, so it was only fitting to show off their auctioneer abilities. If only the pictures could let you hear the energy and their auction chant and rhythm, so very fun!
Take a look at the new Mr. and Mrs. O’Connor below! And make sure to scroll through to the end to see all the vendors involved in their big day!
