Last Spring I met with a few local creatives turned friends to discuss a possible styled shoot. Together with Folk & Fancy Rentals and Summer Lane Designs we collaborated to bring together a farm-to-table theme at the new venue Pioneer Creek Farm in Lomira,Wisconsin.

While rustic is a popular wedding trend here in the Midwest, we wanted to be able to show brides that you dont need to settle for mason jars and burlap when choosing a barn venue or having a classic Wisconsin wedding. We incorporated four scenes – a classic harvest table tablescape, a luxe cheese display on a beautiful buffet, a delicate dessert table in a rather unconventional setting, and a pallet wall adorned with custom calligraphy. Since “light and airy” is also safe in the wedding industry, we wanted to push the envelope with a moody feel and deep, rich jewel tones in the color palette.
