I met Megan when I was 19 years old and while we can’t pinpoint exactly where we met, it was somewhere between college classes, church, and her working at Walgreens. Since day one, she has been a friend, stand-in sister, role model, confidant, and mentor. She has prayed with me, over me, and for me. She has brought me back to reality many times and I have raised her spirits with sarcastic humor many times. We have sat in her parents kitchen for hours talking and hashing through life, relationships, and love. We’ve crafted and DIYed and created many, many projects. We have walked the aisles of TJ Maxx together for miles. We also blew up an air conditioner by accident once too (eeek!). Not only has Megan been a constant in my life for years, so has her family. I’ve spent holidays with them, went on family trips with them, felt love from both sets of grandparents, and helped myself to the leftovers in their fridge.
When Megan and Nathan started dating I wasn’t surprised, I kinda laughed and thought, “well, duh!”. Nathan, you have been prayed for, for years – if not since Megan was born. After trial and error, you were placed in Megan’s life right when you were suppose to be and in perfect timing. You have been the answer to so many sought out questions and wondering. You have shown everyone that the wait was definitely worth it! Thank you both for being a model of what patience and hope looks like and thank you both for modeling what God’s love looks like to all of us!
As a bridesmaid and the photographer, this wedding was an honor to be part of! The team of creatives involved, along with Megan’s amazing style and taste, made this event so beautiful. There was a calm throughout the day and everything and everyone flowed together perfectly. Please help congratulate the new Mr and Mrs Huber by leaving a comment on this blog post below!
