We are made for community and as small business owners sometimes the journey and daily tasks can be lonely and hard to navigate by ourselves. Some days we want to give up because we don’t think we are enough. We feel like we haven’t made it yet because we haven’t reached those milestones we set a year ago. We compare ourselves to other people’s lives by what we see across social media. Have you been there? Have you ever felt inferior because your daily grind doesn’t look as pretty as all the bright, styled square pictures you see? Have you felt like you are just keeping your head above water but really you are right where you are meant to be?

I can raise my hand to all those and I know that we have all been there – whether you a photographer, designer, florist, blogger or other creative pro there are some days when we wish there was someone to bounce ideas off, to sip coffee and chat life with, to cultivate relationships with. That is where TuesdaysTogether comes into play. Founded by Natalie Franke and Krista Jones of the Rising Tide Society, TuesdaysTogether is a movement from coast to coast to bring entrepreneurs and creatives together in one place and to create community. Once a month we will be gathering to talk and discuss various business topics and build each other up. The best part is that every local group will be meeting on the same day – separated by distance but connected by hashtags, we will still be able to unite with other creatives on social media.
