Bryan and Kristy’s engagement session was full of that dreamy, golden light you can only find at sunset. The weather was gorgeous (as was Kristy – duh!) and the venue we found to do their engagement session was nothing short of stunning. Givens Farm in Hortonville is the hidden gem of wedding venues and if you haven’t, its a must see! A complete estate with Italian gardens, private vineyard, 100-year-old rescued trestle bridge, paths and trails winding through the property, and never ending golden fields; Givens Farm does not disappoint. The owners, Jim and Mariann Sykes, were so gracious and accommodating to let us use their private property and I can only imagine how welcoming and hospitable they are to the couples that choose their venue – simply amazing!

Bryan and Kristy met at a family wedding three years ago – although I think the complete story was they met at the pre-festivities of that wedding (Bachelor and Bachelorette party!).  No matter how they met I am sure happy they did because they are so, so good! I told them they must write a guide for all couples on “How to Act and Look In Love” – because these two nailed it with lil direction. I was in awe of their love for each other that beams from both of them and their giddiness (I am also in awe of Kristy’s wardrobe and great eyebrows – girls got style!). Kristy lives in Illinois and Bryan here in northern Wisconsin, I can’t wait for these two to tie the knot so that they can finally be together without a four hour drive between them!
