Funny story about these two, so Sam found me on her search for a wedding photographer and contacted me to meet up and chat over coffee. In the process she showed Eric my galleries online and he was like, “wait a minute, I know a lot of these people!”. Eric and I are from the same small town of Marion and wouldn’t you know it, I get to be at their wedding this September! I am so glad Sam found me, their venue is amazing and their wedding party is going to be SO much fun – its hard to believe that in a short 8 months the big day will be here! We met at 1000 Islands Nature Center in Kaukauna for their engagement session and the weather was definitely on our side; so warm for January but those boardwalks were slick, I may have slid right off a few times…

Cheyenne made an appearance and was all puppy in front of the camera, she was not having any part of Mom and Dad kisses but we made it work before putting on some Packer gear. Getting these two cozy in some green and gold was just what we needed to get over the fact that the home team will not be playing this weekend… hopefully it can warm some of your hearts out there too 😉

I am so excited to be on this wedding ride with Sam and Eric; I love their gentle, real, and honest love between each other and can’t wait to see it come together this fall. See you in September!
