I have been quiet around here. The blog is always hopping with current sessions, but other than that not much has been said. It’s not that I don’t have a lot to say; my mind is always dreaming. You see, all this time I have had a fear of others thinking “who does she think she is?”, well I’m finally ready to say “this is who I am!”. I am a believer in what you put out into the world will come full circle to benefit not only yourself, but others. I hope that sharing my lil corner of the world more will be a positive for myself and this lil business and also my wonderful clients. I hope that by sharing peeks into my personal world – former, current, and future clients will see the real me and be able to build trust and a better relationship with this girl behind the lens. My priority is to run a transparent and honest business; that thought is always in the front of any decision I make.

So what does that mean? 2015 is going to be the year that I dream out loud. The year that I share my dreams with you all and keep you updated on not just sessions and business, but also life and passions outside of photography. The year that I make things happen. The year that you will see more than pretty pictures from me. The year that I will talk from the heart.

“Who wants to hear about lil ol’ me?!” and of course the classic, “but what if I fail?” are the thoughts that have held me back. I’ve been chasing those dreams hard you guys, but with a safety net under me. I’m pushing all that aside and am ready to put myself out there. I am ready to leave the safe lil world of contentment and change things up a bit. I’m not going to allow judgment from others and comparison hold me back. I’m going to face the fear of failure in the hopes that something beautiful will come from a taking a lil bit of risk. Get ready for more blogging, more sharing, and more heart-to-hearts!
