He pursued her, she said no. Isn’t that how all great love stories seem to start? It’s true, the first time Jon asked Allissa on a date, she declined! Now they are a week into their life together after a beautiful wedding day at the Green Lake Conference Center in Green Lake, Wisconsin. The day started early with the entire bridal party getting ready at a family friend’s lake house, right down the road from their venue. Boys downstairs, the girls upstairs. After primping and prepping, we headed off to the conference center for Jon and Allissa’s first look under an amazing vine-covered arbor. Jon waited at the end of stairs, while Allissa made her way down in her blue Kate Spade shoes (Kate Spade!) to meet him. After a few tears and twirls to show off the dress for Jon, we headed down to the lake to meet the rest of the bridal party for group pictures. With the group gathered and bouquets and boutinerres arranged, it was go time! The ceremony started and Jon and Allissa committed their lives together in front of loved ones and most importantly, Christ, who is the center of their relationship. They sealed the deal with a kiss and headed off to a sunset dinner reception at Lawsonia Golf Course where a night of dancing and celebrating were in order for friends and family.
