Eric + Megan | A Summer Heidel House Wedding | Green Lake, Wisconsin
Megan and Eric’s wedding happened to be on one of the gloomiest and darkest days but it was filled with so much joy and light! We waited in anticipation all morning, back and forth on whether they should call for an indoor or outdoor ceremony. After postponing for an hour, the final call was made to move the ceremony into the basement of the Heidel House. Not the desired outcome, but Megan and Eric handled the delay with poise and grace! Their ceremony was one that made you feel all the feels and there were as many teardrops inside as there were raindrops outside. And all though the skies didn’t clear, the rain did stop and we were able to take beautiful portraits around the Heidel House property.
Eric and Megan live in Boston and they did a spectacular job planning a wedding from afar! Eric was the creative mastermind behind the decor and design and every single detail of their day was executed incredibly well! The ballroom dripped with elegance and gold details! Candleabras, mercury glass accents, rose and eucalyptus table runners – the atmosphere and ambiance of the reception was perfect.
Eric and Megan are GOALS, “I hope I’m like Megan when I’m a bride…” was a thought that crossed my own mind a few times that day. Gracious. Sophisticated. Elegant. Everything every bride could hope to be! I’m almost positive each guest received the biggest hug and they both made sure to greet and express appreciation to everyone that was there to celebrate them. So much joy radiated through every second of their day and the energy surrounding them mirrored their happiness and gratitude.
