The rain flirted with us all day for Travis and Kristin’s wedding with threats of storms around 100% in the forecast but we could not have gotten luckier! A first look in the morning allowed us to to complete bridal party photos and portraits before the rain showed up while they were saying their “I dos” at St Thomas More Church. Everyone was so, so thankful how the day fell perfectly in place! Kristin was a beautifully classic bride, carefully selecting all of her details for the day, blushes and whites complimented and made for a soft palette against the barn venue at Homestead Meadows. Travis, affectionately referred to as “T. Jones!” by his groomsmen, commented during his thank you speech that their friends and family blew them away by their response rate – close to everyone that they invited was able to attend their big day, which says a lot about how much they both are loved and celebrated by those surrounding them in life. The on going, playful joke of the day was how long Kristin had to wait to marry Travis, after years and year (and years!) of dating through their 20s they finally are Mr and Mrs Jones!
Check them out below and be sure to scroll all the way through to see how we took advantage of the rain at the end of the night!

A quick stop at Pullman’s Trolley Square, where Kristin and Travis had their first date, for celebrating and photos by the river before heading to the reception.
Travis’ grandparents won the anniversary dance and they were the cutest couple on the dance floor! Always so, so special when grandparents are able to be part of the couple’s wedding.
A magical end to their night! Snuck out in the rain right before we left… totally worth the wet hair!
