I usually try to avoid talking about the weather in a wedding blog post, because well, a wedding day deserves so much more than a recap of the forecast. But, can we talk about how gorgeous the day was for Ben and Julie’s wedding?! The first decent Spring day here in Wisconsin and it just so happened to be the day that these two said “i do” – does it get any better than that? The weather set the tone for this April day and Julie and Ben could not have been more calm and collected together as they celebrated with family and friends.

After almost ten years together (a decade!) they decided to make it official and exchanged vows at the beautiful Catholic church, Holy Family, in Fond du Lac which held all their guests. It was no surprise that 300+ people came together to celebrate their marriage. Thoughtful, caring, and loving are a few words to describe them and how they describe each other – Ben finds Julie beautifully honest and Julie says Ben is silly and playful but knows the limit on when to be serious.

Thank you Julie and Ben for asking me to be part of your wedding! I cannot wait to see where the next decade together takes you and am looking forward to celebrating many more milestones!
