Picking the venue for your day is one of the first things on any wedding planning to-do list. It sets the tone, provides the backdrop during your vows, and creates the atmosphere for your guests to enjoy. The Fox Valley is home to many venues and there is sure to be one that fits every couple’s vision. Here are my top five in the area!

Homestead Meadows

Homestead Meadows is one of my favorite barn venues in the Appleton area. There is a private room for the bride to get ready and changing quarters for the guys. The reception and dining area are also separated, which makes decorating and setting up a breeze! With many options for the ceremony location, abundant places for photos, and a modern, up-to-date renovated barn with plumbing you can’t go wrong if your vision for your wedding day includes rustic and chic.

Riverview Gardens

Riverview Gardens is a great local wedding venue located right in the heart of Appleton with views of the Fox River. With a lounge area and deck for cocktail hour separate from the ballroom for dinner, this is the perfect venue if you are looking for enough space for a large guest list that includes gorgeous views and scenery without having to worrying about the forecast on your wedding day.

Lambeau Field

Lambeau Field is the perfect event space if you want to wow and provide your guests with a truly unique experience! The history and views of the stadium speak for itself as you say “I do” on the deck overlooking the field and celebrate in the terrace suites.

Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel

My top pick for an indoor wedding, this venue is perfect for the late fall or winter bride. Elegant with views of the water in Oshkosh you can be assured that your guests will be taken care of and accommodated at this premier hotel and banquet facility. The Athearn Ballroom is my favorite.

Givens Farm

Located in Hortonville, Givens Farm is great if you want an outdoor space away from the city but trying to avoid the  rustic feel a barn provides. Think a little bit of Tuscany, complete with that exposed brick feel, luscious gardens, a rescued trestle bridge, and spacious vineyard (shown below). The photo opportunities are endless and the service is unmatched.

Bonus Pick! : The Draw

I am so excited to shoot my best friend’s wedding (and be her bridesmaid!) here in April! An art gallery and unique to Appleton, The Draw can provide you with a modern, white space that no other venue can. There is a gorgeous hard wood floor, clean lines, and limitless possibilities. Small and cozy, this is the perfect venue for intimate events.
