I have said it before and I will say it again – Greg and Chloe are my people! Between the love for their cat, Chloe’s love for fine tip Sharpies, and a Friday night love for Jim’s Place they are just the coolest! Married on a very brisk fall day, their wedding was a mix of warm hugs, pops of sunflowers, and Converse kicks! The ceremony took place at St Mary’s in Greenville, where Greg’s father is the deacon and was able to honorably bless and be an official witness to their marriage, so sweet! After their vows, we found the cutest little hideaway downtown Appleton to take photos – it was seriously the dreamiest spot and better yet, kept everyone tucked away from the wind 😉 If you are checking out those bouquets that the bridesmaids and Chloe are carrying, they were made by themselves at Sterling Gardens! The flower shop provided loose stems and hosted a mini workshop for the girls to create their own bouquets a few nights prior to the wedding – such a fun and unique way to make your day even more memorable! The groomsmen’s footwear made a statement as well, all the boys (and Chloe!) wore Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers as an ode to the couple’s cat (his name is “Chuck”), which just may be the best detail I have seen at a wedding! After photos and a stop at Jim’s Place, dinner was served at Fox Banquets, where every single toast and speech talked about Greg and Chloe’s kindness towards each other. These two really are a shining example of gentleness, love, and of course wit and humor – it can’t be missed! Congrats Mr and Mrs De Young, I hope every October 3rd until forever is just as beautiful as the one below!
