Nick and Bonnie know how to entertain their guests! Their day included a barbershop quartet, flash mob, live band, and pole dance routine – it ended up not being just the best day ever, but the best. party. ever! Let’s not forget that their grandparents were part of their bridal party – the grandmas got to toss flowers down the aisle and grandpa looked so dapper being in charge of the rings. Before any of the celebrating started though Bonnie and Nick did a first look with just the two of them under a willow tree and then shared their own private, hand written vows before their formal nuptials with family and friends. I stayed far enough back and behind the branches to give them privacy, but if you want to know what it’s like to be a wedding photographer – imagine being the only other person that gets to witness those very moments with a couple before they say “I do”. It’s kind of crazy to think about and something that gives me goosebumps as I live the day over again going through the images – I am so, so grateful that couples chose me to tell and curate their story start to finish!
